Can I bring a date?

Because of the venue's limited capacity, RSVPs will be limited to those addressed on the formal invitation.

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we love your children, the weekend will be adults-only.

Do I need pesos?

We recommend bringing pesos. While some vendors may accept US dollars, this is not guaranteed. Most will accept credit cards, but ensure to alert your credit card company of your impending international travel prior to departure.

Please keep in mind that taxis (the primary transportation method from town to town) only accept pesos.

How do I get pesos while in Mexico?

While transaction and conversion fees are lower at your domestic bank than they are in Mexico, you can purchase pesos from ATMs using a debit card.

There are ATMs in the PVR airport, as well as in Sayulita. Be mindful that international ATMs will disburse pesos prior to returning your debit card. This is the opposite of most domestic machines.

I don’t know Spanish. Will that be a problem?

While knowing some Spanish is certainly helpful, it is not necessary to be fluent. Most people in Sayulita and the neighboring towns (Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, and San Francisco) speak serviceable English. With that said, it is a good idea to have a translation app or phrase book handy.

What are some of your favorite places to eat/drink in Sayulita?
